Grinder Machine Operator Requirements
- Previous experience metal machine operator/ machine operator
- Strong understanding of precision measuring tools and gauges
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
About the Grinder Machine Operator Role
As a Grinder Machine Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Set up and operate CNC and/or manual grinding machines to produce precision components
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain quality standards
- Inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications
- Use measuring tools and gauges to verify tolerances and dimensions
- Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings for production
- Communicate with leads and quality control teams to resolve production issues
- Maintain consistent production output to meet deadlines and goals
