About the Role
Crown Staffing is hiring a Breastfeeding Peer Counselor to support community health initiatives in Louisville, KY. In this role, you will provide education, guidance, and support to individuals and families, helping promote healthy practices and connect them with valuable resources.

Key Responsibilities
- Enter, update, and maintain data using computer systems
- Maintain accurate records, files, and program documentation
- Conduct on-site visits with assigned individuals to provide support and coaching
- Assess needs and provide referrals based on program guidelines
- Share and explain health education materials and resources
- Communicate with healthcare providers, community agencies, and social services
- Support outreach efforts and encourage participation in programs
Requirements
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of health education and breastfeeding support preferred
- Ability to mentor, coach, and support others effectively
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
