Schedule: 12-hour shifts

- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Position Type: Full-Time
About the Role
Crown Staffing is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to support intake and evaluation services for youth in Louisville, KY. In this role, you will assess individuals upon arrival with law enforcement and assist in determining appropriate next steps for care or placement.
This is a great opportunity for nurses who are confident in assessment skills and comfortable working in a fast-paced, structured environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform initial medical and behavioral evaluations upon youth arrival
- Assess overall condition and determine appropriate level of care
- Collaborate with law enforcement, medical staff, and internal teams
- Assist with transitioning individuals to hospitals or correctional facilities as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Follow all facility protocols, safety procedures, and healthcare guidelines
- Support a safe and controlled environment for staff and individuals
Requirements
- Active RN or LPN license (Kentucky or compact)
- Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Juvenile, behavioral health, or correctional experience preferred
