Forge Machine Operator
Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM | $18.00/hr
Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM | $18.00/hr
Forge Machine Operator Requirements
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Eagerness to learn, willing to train
- Prior machine operator experience in a production environment
- Ability to work in a hot environment
- Strong attendance and punctuality
- Experience working with metal parts, forging, or heat treat processes
- Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail
About the Forge Machine Operator Role
As a Forge Machine Operator your responsibilities will include:
- Set up and operate forging machines such as hammers and presses to shape heated metal parts
- Operate furnaces to heat metal stock for forging processes
- Position and load metal materials into machines safely and accurately
- Remove, clean, and prepare forged parts for the next stage of production
- Grind, cut, and finish metal components to meet specifications
- Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and consistency
- Change dies and assist with machine adjustments as needed
- Maintain safety standards while working in high-heat production environments
- Support heat treat department operations and workflow
