Frankfort, KY
Pay: $22.00/hour
Shift Options:
- 8-Hour Shifts Available
- 12-Hour Shifts Available
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire
About the Role
Crown Staffing is hiring dependable and safety-focused CDL / Yard Dog Drivers to support yard operations in Frankfort, KY. In this role, you will operate a specialized yard tractor to move trailers and containers throughout the facility while helping maintain efficient yard flow and warehouse operations.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong driving skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a yard tractor (“yard dog”) to move containers and trailers throughout the yard
- Position trailers for loading and unloading operations
- Maintain safe and organized traffic flow within the facility
- Perform routine inspections of yard equipment and report maintenance concerns
- Follow all company safety procedures and DOT regulations
- Communicate with warehouse and logistics teams to support daily operations
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Assist with additional yard duties as assigned
Requirements
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL required
- Previous yard driving or tractor-trailer experience preferred
- Strong attention to safety and awareness in a busy yard environment
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
