MIG Welder Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Previous MIG welding experience preferred
- Ability to read and follow verbal and written instructions
- Experience using measuring tools and welding equipment
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Reliable attendance and teamwork skills
- Commitment to workplace safety and maintaining a clean work area
About the MIG Welder Role
Crown Staffing is seeking skilled MIG Welders for a manufacturing facility in Shelbyville, KY. This position involves operating welding equipment, setting up fixtures, and supporting production operations to ensure quality products are produced safely and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
- Set up jigs, fixtures, and welding equipment for production runs
- Operate MIG welding equipment according to production standards
- Perform spot welding, deburring, buffing, and sorting of parts
- Load jigs and assist with packing finished products
- Inspect parts using measuring tools to ensure quality standards are met
- Follow all written and verbal work instructions
- Maintain accurate production records
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Assist other operators and production team members as needed
- Perform all duties following company safety procedures
