Job Details
- Position: Material Handler
- Schedule: 1st Shift | Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
- Location: Erlanger, KY
Key Responsibilities
As a Material Handler, you will support production and warehouse operations by:
- Loading production lines with necessary materials and supplies
- Safely moving materials weighing 25–75 lbs throughout the facility
- Operating pallet jacks to transport inventory and products
- Replenishing production areas to prevent downtime
- Hand-stacking materials according to company standards
- Keeping production lines fully stocked and organized
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Reporting safety hazards, damaged goods, or equipment issues
- Assisting team members and supervisors with general warehouse tasks as needed
Requirements & Qualifications
- Ability to lift 25–75 pounds consistently throughout the shift
- Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling experience preferred
- Pallet jack experience preferred
- Ability to work in extreme hot and cold temperatures
- Comfortable working in noisy industrial environments
- Able to work around slippery floors, broken glass, spilled product, and other hazards
- Ability to work around hot water and approved cleaning chemicals
- Strong attention to safety procedures and workplace awareness
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for long periods
- Dependable attendance and reliable transportation required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions
This role may involve exposure to:
- Extreme hot and cold temperatures
- High noise levels
- Slippery walking surfaces
- Spilled materials, torn cans, and broken glass
- Hot water and industrial cleaning chemicals (such as floor soap)
