French/English Translator Requirements
- Fluent in both French and English (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Six months of manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred
- Familiarity with quality assurance processes and basic computer skills
- Strong listening and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to interpret and explain detailed work instructions
- Dependable and self-motivated with a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Willingness to assist across departments as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Translate spoken and written information between French and English while maintaining accuracy, context, and meaning
- Assist supervisors with communicating job duties, work instructions, and safety procedures to associates
- Support employee training sessions and meetings by providing on-the-spot interpretation
- Translate written materials such as job aids, safety posters, and training guides
- Help facilitate orientation and onboarding for French-speaking employees
- Communicate clearly with both temporary and permanent staff to ensure tasks are understood
- Provide feedback and improvement suggestions to supervisors regarding communication or workflow processes
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity at all times
