Painter Job Details
Fort Knox, KY
Pay: $18.50/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Monday – Thursday | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Position Type: Full-Time
Painter Requirements
- Previous painting experience preferred
- Knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and materials
- Ability to prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and patching
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to safely use ladders, lifts, and painting equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Key Responsibilities
- Paint interior and exterior surfaces in accordance with company standards
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, scraping, sanding, and repairing as needed
- Apply paint, stain, and coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
- Protect surrounding areas and maintain a clean work environment
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and appearance standards are met
- Perform touch-up painting and minor repairs as needed
- Maintain painting tools, equipment, and supplies
- Follow all safety procedures and workplace guidelines
- Assist with additional maintenance and facility projects as assigned
- Help ensure the appearance and physical condition of the property meets ownership and management objectives
