Warehouse Associate Job Description Location: Charlestown, IN Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Position Type: Temp-to-Hire Pay: $16.00/hour About the Warehouse Associate Role Crown Staffing is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join a dynamic team in Charlestown, IN. This role involves picking, packing, and shipping orders, as well as maintaining an efficient and organized warehouse environment. Ideal candidates will have strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to safety and quality. Key Responsibilities Picking & Packing: Accurately picks, packs, and ships ordered items to meet company standards. Receiving & Stocking: Receives inbound orders, verifies quantities, inspects for damages, and stocks items accordingly. Order Processing: Utilizes RF technology to process both inbound and outbound orders, ensuring accuracy. Inventory Management: Conducts inventory cycle counts, ensuring proper stock levels and accuracy. Equipment Handling: Operates warehouse equipment, including forklifts and material handling tools. Shipping & Receiving: Verifies and loads/unloads trailers, checks for transit damage, and verifies bills of lading. Cleaning & Maintenance: Maintains a clean and safe working environment, adhering to safety protocols. Team Collaboration: Assists with training new hires and collaborates with team members to ensure smooth operations. Physical Labor: Performs physical tasks such as walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds consistently. Additional Duties: Performs re-warehousing moves, reports equipment damage, and assists with Haz Mat material handling. Warehouse Associate Requirements -High school diploma or GED. -2-4 years of warehouse experience (preferred). -Ability to use RF technology and material handling equipment. -Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. -Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment. -Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when necessary. -Ability to operate hand-held and powered material handling equipment (training provided). -Must pass training program for powered material handling equipment. -Must adhere to safety protocols and quality standards.
