Welder Job Details Location: Louisville, KY Pay: $20 – $25/hour (based on experience) Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM Position Type: Temp-to-Hire About the Welder Role Crown Staffing is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Welder to join a busy lumber and fencing company in Louisville, KY. This is a hands-on role that involves fabricating and repairing metal fencing systems, gates, and custom structures. Ideal candidates will be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and have strong welding and metal fabrication skills. Key Responsibilities -Perform MIG, TIG, or Stick welding on fencing and structural metal components -Cut, fabricate, and assemble metal parts based on blueprints and specifications -Repair metal fencing panels, gates, and related structures -Operate welding equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely -Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy -Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing yard materials -Maintain a clean and safe outdoor work environment -Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines Welder Requirements -Previous experience in welding, metal fabrication, or similar trades -Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions -Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and fabrication specs -Familiarity with cutting, grinding, and welding processes -Strong work ethic, punctuality, and team spirit -Basic math and measurement skills -Forklift experience is a plus (or willingness to be trained) -Experience in construction, fencing, or a lumberyard is a plus but not required About Crown Staffing Crown Staffing is a staffing and recruiting company that unites character-driven people and companies to build rewarding careers and strong organizations.
