The ideal candidate will have prior experience in sewing and hemming. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Key Responsibilities – Operate a high-speed industrial sewing machine using a variety of materials, e.g., cotton, rayon, polyester, and wool, or a combination of fabric contents. – Measure, cut, pin, and sew fabric pieces. – Fit, alter, and make made-to-measure clothing according to customers’ specifications and guidelines. – Press garments, using hand irons or pressing machines. – Follow verbal and/or written instructions. – Maintains sewing machine to ensure proper working order. – Keeps working area clean and orderly.
