Job Description

Summary A Purchaser coordinates activities involved with procuring goods and services such as raw materials, equipment, tools, parts, and supplies. Also responsible for establishing relationships with external vendors, order placement and fulfillment, supporting operations with production material, and inventory management. This role ensures that procurement processes are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with company needs while maintaining vendor relationships and ensuring timely deliveries. Procurement & Vendor Management ? Research, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability. ? Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to optimize cost savings. ? Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure timely deliveries and high-quality products. ? Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to orders or discrepancies. Inventory & Order Management ? Assess company purchasing needs based on inventory levels, sales, and project demands. ? Place and track purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery and prevent shortages. ? Work with warehouse and receiving teams to verify the accuracy of shipments. ? Maintain organized purchasing records and reports for audit and budgeting purposes. Cost Control & Budgeting ? Monitor and analyze purchasing trends to identify cost-saving opportunities. ? Assist in budget planning by providing cost estimates and expenditure reports. ? Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and financial guidelines. Compliance & Documentation ? Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and industry regulations. ? Maintain up-to-date records of purchases, supplier agreements, and invoices. ? Work with finance and accounting teams to ensure timely payments and resolve discrepancies. ? Perform any other duties or assignments provided by Management A bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience of 2 years in purchasing may be substituted. Pay: $55k-70k
