Job Overview:
The MIG & TIG Welder will perform high-quality welds on metal components using MIG & TIG welding techniques. This role requires blueprint reading, precision, and a strong commitment to safety and quality in a manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MIG & TIG Welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
Set up welding equipment and select proper materials and wire
Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols
Inspect welds for accuracy using measurement tools
Prep materials by cleaning, grinding, or cutting as needed
Maintain equipment and report issues
Keep a safe, clean, and organized work area
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred
1–3 years of MIG & TIG welding experience
Welding certification or technical training a plus
Strong knowledge of MIG techniques and welding safety
Ability to read blueprints and perform quality welds
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment
