Crown Staffing is currently hiring Ushers to assist with live events and concerts. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with people, providing excellent customer service, and helping create a smooth and enjoyable event experience for guests and performers.
Position Overview:
As an Usher, you will play an important role in welcoming guests, assisting with seating, supporting event operations, and ensuring the venue remains organized throughout the event.
Job Responsibilities:
Pre-Concert Duties:
- Check in with the Event Coordinator upon arrival
- Assist with venue setup and merchandise table preparation
- Ensure the venue is clean, organized, and ready for guests
- Welcome guests as doors open
- Check tickets and direct attendees to seating areas
- Assist guests with finding seats and maintaining organized seating arrangements
- Help maintain a positive and professional environment before the event begins
During the Concert:
- Assist late arrivals during appropriate breaks in the performance
- Support event staff and performers as needed
- Take general audience and performer photos from the back of the venue when requested
- Monitor guest areas to ensure a smooth event experience
Post-Concert Duties:
- Assist with merchandise sales if needed
- Help with equipment breakdown and cleanup
- Ensure the venue is left clean and organized
- Guide attendees out of the venue in a timely and professional manner
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Friendly, professional, and dependable attitude
- Ability to work in fast-paced event environments
- Comfortable assisting large groups of people
- Ability to follow directions and adapt during live events
- Team-oriented and willing to assist where needed
Additional Information:
- Dress Code: Smart casual attire, preferably all black
- Events typically end around 9:30 PM – 10:00 PM
- Flexible part-time/event-based scheduling available
- Must be able to think quickly and provide excellent guest service throughout the event
