Schedule: Monday – Thursday | 5:00 PM – 3:30 AM
Pay: $24.00/hour

About the Role
Crown Staffing is hiring a Robot Weld Technician for a manufacturing facility in Shelbyville, KY. This is a great opportunity for someone with welding or manufacturing experience who wants to move into a more technical, automation-focused role.
This is not a traditional welding position—you’ll be working with robotic systems, troubleshooting equipment, and helping keep production running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot robotic welding equipment
- Assist with programming adjustments, including position points and arc start files
- Make fixture, tooling, datum, and sensor adjustments as needed
- Perform preventative maintenance on robotic welding systems
- Support welding operations and maintain quality standards
- Train and assist operators, welders, and inspectors
- Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to resolve issues
- Complete production reports and required documentation
- Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
- Monitor welding consumables and maintain inventory levels
- Follow blueprints, work instructions, and standard procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1–3 years of manufacturing or welding experience preferred
- Experience with robotics, fixtures, or GMAW is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a team environment
