Crown Staffing is hiring a dependable and safety-focused CDL Yard Driver in Frankfort, KY. This role involves moving trailers and containers throughout the yard using a yard tractor while supporting daily operations.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong driving skills who values safety, consistency, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a yard tractor to move trailers and containers within the yard
- Position trailers accurately for loading and unloading
- Follow all safety guidelines and DOT regulations
- Communicate with warehouse and shipping teams to support operations
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Complete additional tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL required
- Previous yard driving or tractor-trailer experience preferred
- Strong focus on safety and awareness
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
