Pay: $24.00/hour
Schedule: Monday – Thursday | 5:00 PM – 3:30 AM

About the Role
Crown Staffing is hiring a Robot Weld Technician – Level I to support automated welding operations in Shelbyville, KY. In this role, you will work with robotic welding systems to keep production running efficiently, troubleshoot issues, and support continuous improvement efforts.
This is a great opportunity for someone with manufacturing or welding experience who wants to grow their skills in automation and robotics.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot robotic welding equipment
- Make basic programming adjustments, including position points and arc start files
- Adjust fixtures, tooling, and sensors as needed
- Support welding operations and ensure quality standards are met
- Perform preventative maintenance on robotic welding systems
- Assist in training operators and team members on equipment use
- Partner with Maintenance and Engineering to resolve equipment or process issues
- Provide technical support to production teams
- Complete production reports and maintain accurate documentation
- Support Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitor consumables and maintain proper inventory levels
- Follow work instructions, blueprints, and standard procedures
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1–3 years of manufacturing or welding experience preferred
- Experience with robotics, fixtures, or GMAW is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
- Basic computer skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well with cross-functional teams
