Production Mold Technician Requirements
- Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- Clear verbal communication skills in English
- Willingness to train on 1st shift before transitioning to assigned shift
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Reliable attendance and teamwork skills
About the Production Mold Technician Role
Crown Staffing is seeking motivated and detail-oriented Production Mold Technicians for a manufacturing facility in Lexington, KY. This role supports the production of open-cast polyurethane molds and involves assisting with production setup, material preparation, quality inspections, and maintaining efficient workflow throughout the production process.
Key responsibilities include:
- Set up molds, materials, and equipment for production runs
- Organize work orders based on drawings and supervisor instructions
- Track production by labeling screens and marking job orders accurately
- Pour materials into molds while maintaining quality standards
- Perform visual inspections to identify defects or inconsistencies
- Remove finished screens from molds and transfer them to ovens promptly
- Maintain accurate production documentation and reporting
- Operate production equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Communicate production issues or concerns to supervisors
- Support additional warehouse and production duties as assigned
