Pay: $27.50/hour

About the Role
Crown Staffing is hiring a Robot Weld Technician to support manufacturing operations in Shelbyville, KY. This role focuses on working with robotic welding equipment, supporting production processes, and troubleshooting systems to keep operations running efficiently.
This is not a traditional welding position—this role is ideal for someone looking to grow into a more technical position involving robotics, automation, and process support.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot robotic welding equipment
- Assist with programming adjustments, including position points and arc start files
- Make fixture, tooling, datum, and sensor adjustments as needed
- Support welding operations and maintain quality standards
- Perform preventative maintenance on robotic welding systems
- Train and assist operators, welders, and inspectors
- Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to resolve issues
- Complete production reports and required documentation
- Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing efforts
- Monitor welding consumables and maintain inventory levels
- Follow blueprints, work instructions, and standard procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1–3 years of manufacturing or welding experience preferred
- Experience with robotics, fixtures, or GMAW is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a team environment
