About the Dietitian Role
Crown Staffing is seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Registered Dietitian to support patient care in a hospital setting in Prestonsburg, KY. In this role, you will provide clinical nutrition services, conduct nutrition assessments, and develop individualized nutrition care plans for patients.
You will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and the healthcare team to support patient health outcomes through effective nutrition management.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for hospital patients
- Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans
- Monitor patient progress and adjust nutrition plans as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Provide clinical nutrition services and patient education when appropriate
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system
- Follow hospital policies and clinical nutrition standards
Requirements & Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian (RD) credential required
- Clinical or hospital nutrition experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively within a healthcare team
- Proficiency with electronic health records and nutrition analysis software
