Customer Service Representative (CSR) – 2nd Shift
Location: Louisville, KY
Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour
Shift: 2nd Shift
Position Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire (as applicable)

About the Customer Service Representative Role
Crown Staffing is seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Customer Service Representative (CSR) to support customer order processing and production coordination within an automotive manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate order management, timely communication, and smooth coordination between customers and internal production teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, process, and verify customer orders and purchase orders for accuracy
  • Manage customer service requests related to order changes and updates
  • Maintain and update order files and communicate changes to appropriate departments
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve order-related issues
  • Load and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs) for the plant
  • Maintain and update customer-specific routing instructions
  • Operate computer systems to extract and analyze order data for reporting
  • Perform system maintenance on electronic order files
  • Enter and update SAP data related to production requirements, BOMs, relief files, and customer data
  • Prepare and distribute daily reports and order acknowledgments
  • Prepare invoices and test certificates for finished goods and customer sample shipments
  • Support the Quality Department with the APQP process
  • Provide backup support for Supervisor and Inventory Specialist when needed
  • Recommend improvements to customer service processes and systems
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years of customer service experience in an automotive or manufacturing environment preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Ability to manage workload in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
