CNC Press Brake Operator
Pay: $20–$25/hour, based on experience
Job Overview:
A CNC Press Brake Operator is needed to set up, operate, and maintain CNC press brake machinery for metal fabrication. This role requires attention to detail, precision, and a strong understanding of technical drawings and fabrication processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC press brake machines to bend/form metal parts
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
Select proper tooling and ensure correct machine setup
Perform quality checks with calipers, micrometers, and tape measures
Adjust machinery as needed during production
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
Document production output and report issues
Conduct routine maintenance on machines
Support team-based continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; technical training/apprenticeship preferred
1–3 years of experience operating CNC press brakes in manufacturing
Ability to read technical drawings and use measurement tools
Mechanical aptitude and understanding of metal fabrication
Must be detail-oriented, quality-focused, and team-minded
Physically able to lift to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
