About the Role
Crown Staffing is hiring a detail-oriented Home Inspector to join a growing inspection team. This role focuses on conducting property inspections, creating accurate reports, and communicating findings clearly with clients and real estate professionals.
No prior home inspection experience is required—training is provided, along with reimbursement for required certifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform residential and commercial property inspections following company and state standards
- Inspect major systems including roofing, structure, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC
- Prepare clear, accurate inspection reports using company software
- Communicate findings professionally with clients and real estate agents
- Perform additional services such as radon, mold, and sewer inspections (training provided)
- Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicle in clean, working condition
- Work independently while staying in communication with the team
- Complete continuing education to maintain certifications
- Follow all safety guidelines and best practices
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently and stay organized
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Basic computer skills for reporting and communication
- Ability to complete required Kentucky home inspection course and pass the NHIE (reimbursement provided)
- Construction, maintenance, or related experience is a plus
