Waste Management Team Member Job Details
Location: Georgetown KY
Schedule: TBD
Pay:$18.44-$19.36 pending shift
Overtime is possible/mandatory
Temp/Temp with intent to hire Waste Management Team Member Requirements
* High School Diploma or GED
* One to three months of related experience or training
* Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
* Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, fractions, decimals)
* Willing to work in varied environmental conditions (indoor/outdoor, hot/cold)
* Must be able to pass a respiratory capacity physical and comply with respirator safety requirements
About the Waste Management Team Member Role
* Follow safety guidelines and company procedures at all times
* Collect and manage waste from production areas, including hazardous and non-hazardous materials
* Transfer rags and paper to appropriate storage
* Operate drum crushers and aerosol can puncture tools
* Weigh, label, and store waste containers properly
* Prepare waste for shipment
* Participate in routine cleaning and 5S duties
* Attend team meetings and complete required training
* Other duties as assigned
