Job Description
Pay is BOE $28-$32
M-F 730am – 4pm
Heavy Lifting – Physical Labor 70% of the time. Shipping and Admin work 30%. Would like to see a candidate with "soft" Lead experience and packing heavy containers
Looking for someone with very strong shipping skills, can lead a team of co-workers, has international shipping experience, familiarity with shipping using software like UPS, FedEx, this role will be physical packing parts and paperwork.
Position Summary:
Based in Hebron Kentucky the Shipping/Receiving Clerk – Lead will perform essential job
functions under the direction of the Customer Service Manager to meet production and
customer needs.
The Shipping/Receiving Clerk – Lead assists both receiving and shipping departments with all
tasks involving unpacking, staging, transporting, and packing customer parts. This will also
involve verifying the accuracy of accompanied paperwork. This position is a very active job and
requires attention to detail and the ability to handle fragile parts with care.
Essential Job Functions (Duties and Responsibilities): The primary duties consist of, but
are not limited to the following.
? This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customer’s inventory and
as such will perform duties in a safe and responsible manner to prevent customer loss or
damage.
? Follow all written instructions where provided, pack completed parts for shipping and
unpack parts for processing
? Continuously perform visual inspection of parts for damages or issues that must be
addressed before shipping to customer
? Record and sign off on all applicable process steps defined in the job folder for each
shipping operation
? Locate all shipping containers and make appropriate and safe use of shipping and
receiving materials and equipment.
? Resolve incoming receiving discrepancies (i.e. call the customer if discrepancies are
noted between the quantity shipped and quantity received
? Document all applicable data for parts being received and shipped per job folder
? Prepare all appropriate documents to go with parts as per job folder
? Work with inspection department to get jobs shipped in a timely manner

? Ship jobs in our internal system as well as customer portals
? Responsible for updating leadership daily regarding the department work load
? Responsible for international shipping that may include additional shipping documents,
invoicing and customs interaction.
? Prepare invoices for customers
? Familiarity with Fed Ex, UPS, other carriers shipping software/portals
? Observe all Environmental, Health and Safety Policy requirements:
o Using Forklift
o Using floor jacks
o Using hoist
o Keeping work area neat and orderly at all times
o Wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
? Assist others as directed by Customer Service Manager
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each

? Must demonstrate the ability to read, write and communicate the English language
? 2-3 years of relevant industrial experience
? Familiar with industrial environment
? Previous experience in the surface technologies industry desired
? Able to handle and manage a steady pace for workflow
? Good communication skills and team orientation
? Positive approach to changing objectives and priorities
Physical & Mental Demands: The following physical and mental demands consist of, but are

? Must be able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time in an industrial
environment.
? Ability to bend, pull, stoop and reach to perform functions

? Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing
