Direct Support Caregiver – Job Details
Location: Somerset, KY
Schedule & Pay
Shift Availability:
- Must be available for 2nd and/or 3rd shift
- Weekend availability required
- Work two consecutive weekends, with the third weekend off
Shift Times:
- 2nd Shift: 2:45 PM – 11:00 PM
- 3rd Shift: 10:45 PM – 7:00 AM
Pay Rate: $17.83 – $18.96 per hour
- Shift differentials available for 2nd and 3rd shift
- Additional $1.00/hour weekend premium
- Overtime possible and may be required
Position Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
About the Direct Support Caregiver Role
Crown Staffing is seeking compassionate and dependable Direct Support Caregivers to provide care and support for individuals with developmental disabilities in Somerset, KY. This role focuses on assisting residents with daily activities while ensuring their safety, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide continuous care and supervision to residents
- Assist with daily living activities such as hygiene, home management, and leisure activities
- Support residents with safe transfers and mobility as needed
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment
- Follow all facility policies and state/federal regulations
- Document care, activities, and resident progress accurately each shift
- Promote independence and quality of life for all residents
Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
