Job Summary
Crown Staffing is seeking compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse Case Managers (RNCMs) for a pediatric healthcare facility in Lexington, KY. This role is responsible for managing and coordinating care for patients ranging from birth to 21 years old using a multidisciplinary and holistic approach.
The RNCM will provide direct patient care, coordinate referrals, educate patients and families, and support the child’s educational, psychosocial, behavioral, physical, mental, and emotional needs. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling based on patient census and operational needs.
Full-time opportunities may include:
- 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts
- 40 hours per week with 8-hour shifts
The facility is currently hiring primarily for 8-hour shifts, with increased 12-hour shift coverage expected during the summer months.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care and patient assessments.
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations as ordered.
- Coordinate referrals to providers, specialists, and community resources.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and preventative care.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records.
- Respond appropriately to emergent situations while maintaining professionalism.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure quality patient care.
- Maintain confidentiality and follow all healthcare compliance and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure required.
- Kentucky RN license or qualifying Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) required.
- Pediatric experience preferred.
- Current CPR/BLS certification required.
- Current TB test required.
- Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
Schedule Information
- Monday–Friday: 6:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
- Shift schedules may vary based on operational needs and patient census.
- Occasional early dismissal may occur depending on patient volume.
