About the Role
Crown Staffing is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Pharmacist to support medication management and patient care. In this role, you will review prescriptions, ensure accurate dispensing, and collaborate with healthcare teams to promote safe and effective patient outcomes.
This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed pharmacist looking to work in a structured, patient-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Review medication orders for accuracy, proper dosage, and potential interactions
- Ensure medications are prepared, labeled, and dispensed correctly
- Communicate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff regarding medication-related questions
- Oversee the preparation and dispensing of medications
- Recommend therapy adjustments when appropriate
- Investigate and resolve medication-related concerns
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and clinical data
Requirements
- Active Pharmacist license in the state of Kentucky (required)
- Previous long-term care experience preferred
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented work style
- Computer proficiency; experience with FrameworkLTC is a plus
