Job Description
RN – Med/Surg Job Details
Location: Elizabethtown, KY
Schedule: 3rd Shift | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Pay: $46-47 per hour
RN – Med/Surg Requirements
- EPIC proficiency required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience (1 year of recent Med/Surg experience preferred)
About the RN – Med/Surg Role
- Interpreting and managing dysrhythmias
- Administering oxygen protocols and managing non-invasive airway support
- Managing drips and central/peripheral line care
- Administering blood products
- Implementing isolation precautions and proper use of PPE
- Activating rapid response teams when needed
- Utilizing EPIC for accurate and timely documentation
- Managing a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6
