POWDER COAT PAINTER Details:

Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | $20 – $29/hour (DOE)

Powder Coater Requirements:

● Prior experience as a Powder Coater

● Experience operating powder coating equipment, including guns and hoppers

● Knowledge of thermosetting resin coatings, wash systems, and pretreatments

● Ability to determine paint flow, viscosity, and coating quality using viscometers

● Experience preparing parts for coating (washing, drying, organizing per job order)

● Forklift experience

● Strong attention to detail and quality standards

About the Powder Coater Role:

As a Powder Coater, your responsibilities will include:

● Preparing parts for powder coating through washing, pretreatment, and proper staging

● Operating powder coating guns, hoppers, and related coating equipment

● Applying thermosetting resin coatings to meet quality and thickness specifications

● Monitoring and adjusting paint flow, viscosity, and spray patterns using viscometers

● Inspecting coated parts to ensure proper coverage, finish quality, and consistency

● Organizing and staging parts according to job orders and production schedules

● Loading and unloading parts onto racks for processing
