Job Details
- Position: Forklift Operator
- Schedule: 2nd Shift | Monday–Friday | 5:00 PM – Finish
- Pay Rate: $19.40 per hour
- Location: Erlanger, KY
Key Responsibilities
As a Forklift Operator, you will support warehouse and production operations by:
- Safely operating forklifts to move, load, and unload materials and products
- Operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts to complete daily tasks
- Transporting inventory throughout warehouse and production areas
- Loading and unloading trailers safely and efficiently
- Staging materials for production and shipping needs
- Ensuring production lines remain supplied with required materials
- Performing basic equipment inspections and reporting issues
- Maintaining accurate material flow and organization
- Keeping work areas clean, safe, and organized
- Following all company safety policies and procedures
Requirements & Qualifications
- Must have experience operating both sit-down and stand-up forklifts
- Previous forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience in warehouse or manufacturing environments preferred
- Ability to safely operate equipment in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Comfortable working in hot/cold and noisy industrial environments
- Ability to work around moving equipment and warehouse traffic
- Dependable attendance and reliable transportation required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions
This role may involve exposure to:
- Extreme hot and cold temperatures
- High noise levels
- Slippery walking surfaces
- Active warehouse and production environments with heavy equipment traffic
