Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a General Utility Associate!

General Utility Associate Job Details
Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts | 7:45 AM – 8:00 PM
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
Location: Florence, KY

General Utility Associate Requirements/Qualifications
  • Manufacturing experience required
  • Plastics manufacturing experience strongly preferred
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts
  • Strong attention to safety, quality, and production standards
  • Ability to lift, move, and stage materials as needed throughout the shift
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and reliability
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate production documentation
  • Experience with inventory tracking, production support, or warehouse operations preferred
  • Ability to maintain housekeeping standards using 6S principles
About the General Utility Associate Role
As a General Utility Associate, your responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting production operations to ensure all lines are supplied with necessary materials
  • Operating and assisting with production line and/or mixer start-up and operation
  • Emptying production lines into pallets for work-in-progress (WIP) or finished goods
  • Tracking and recording inventory produced during each shift
  • Monitoring and documenting downtime and identifying causes
  • Ensuring correct packaging materials are used for each product type
  • Building and staging pallets to maintain production flow
  • Loading and unloading trucks and staging finished goods in proper locations
  • Performing periodic quality inspections (visual and/or using tools)
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment using 6S methodology
  • Supporting shipping, receiving, and production teams to ensure on-time output
  • Completing additional duties as assigned to support overall plant operations
