Extruding Associate Job Details
Monday – Thursday | 6:00am – 4:30pm | $16 per hour
Extruding Associate Requirements
- Ability to work in a manufacturing/plant environment
About the Extruding Associate Role
As an Extruding Associate, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the Extruding department with handling and packaging flexible conduit products
- Operating equipment to process production scrap by separating plastic from metal core for recycling and resale
- Stripping plastic off metal cores and separating plastics by size for proper reuse
- Wrapping full pillar packs of plastic and preparing materials for storage or shipment
- Returning stripped cores to the Coiling/Square Lock department for reuse
- Labeling cartons, reels, and coils accurately for production and inventory tracking
- Assisting the Winder with setting up pullers, pushers, and conveyors during production runs
- Retrieving cores from Interlock tables and preparing them for the next production stage
- Assembling cartons, making reels, and wrapping finished products for packaging and shipment
