Warehouse Dock Worker
Job Details
Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM | $18.00 per hour
- Overtime possible and mandatory
Warehouse Dock Worker Requirements
- Ability to unload trucks and shipping containers safely without damaging cargo
- Ability to lift, move, and stage freight in a warehouse dock environment
- Ability to follow safety procedures and warehouse policies
- Forklift experience is needed
About the Warehouse Dock Worker Role
As a Warehouse Dock Worker your responsibilities will include:
- Operate sit down forklift to: Unload trucks and containers while ensuring cargo is not damaged & Receive inbound freight and moving it to the proper staging area
- Labeling freight with booking numbers, piece counts, and dock receipt numbers
- Securing cargo inside containers by blocking and bracing loads properly
- Handling hazardous materials following DOT, OSHA, and Coast Guard regulations
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse dock area
- Following warehouse loading checklists and supervisor instructions
