Chemical Operator Job Details
Schedule: Monday – Friday  | Hours: 7:30am-4pm | Pay:$22/hr
  • Overtime possible and may be required

Chemical Operator Requirements
  • 1–3 years of manufacturing or production experience preferred
  • Experience operating industrial machinery or production equipment
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions, SOPs, and safety procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Comfortable working in chemical, industrial, or manufacturing environments
  • Ability to wear required PPE (respirator, safety glasses, gloves, etc.)
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and system tracking
About the Chemical Operator Role
As a Chemical Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating equipment used to blend, mix, and package chemical products while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. 
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Setting up, starting, and operating mixing, blending, and processing equipment
  • Weighing and measuring ingredients to meet exact recipe specifications
  • Monitoring production processes to ensure safe and efficient operation
  • Troubleshooting equipment and processing issues as they arise
  • Operating machinery to mix, extrude, discharge, and transport materials
  • Inspecting materials to ensure they meet quality and production standards
  • Taking samples to the lab for testing and batch adjustments
  • Performing machine cleaning and routine maintenance tasks
  • Completing and maintaining production logs, reports, and system data entries
  • Ensuring data accuracy and integrity in all systems
  • Communicating issues to supervisors and production leads
  • Following all safety regulations, ISO standards, and company procedures
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area (housekeeping standards)
  • Participating in training and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Performing other duties as assigned
