Machinist CNC Lathe/Vertical Mill
Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | $32/hr
Machinist CNC Lathe/Vertical Mill Requirements:
- Ability to set up, adjust, and operate a variety of CNC machines for close-tolerance work
- Skilled in diagnosing and rectifying tooling problems and machine malfunctions
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and job layouts
- Ability to perform tool changes and independent set-ups
- Experience with manual lathes and mills is a plus
About the CNC Machinist Role
As a CNC Machinist, your responsibilities will include
- Set up, adjust, and operate various CNC machines to produce high-quality parts
- Perform progressive machining on a diversified line of close-tolerance work
- Diagnose and correct tooling issues and machine malfunctions
- Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and job layouts
- Perform tool changes and machine set-ups independently
- Edit CNC programs when necessary
- Verify parts using standard machinist gauges throughout production
