Transmission & Differential Technician
Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM | $24/hour
Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM | $24/hour
Heavy Duty Transmission & Differential Technician Requirements
● Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive, diesel, or heavy vehicle industry
● Must have hands-on experience with mechanical troubleshooting and repair
● Experience with transmission and differential teardown preferred
● Forklift experience required
● Strong attention to detail and ability to identify wear/failure patterns
● Experience using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators) preferred
● Knowledge of drivetrain systems, gear sets, bearings, and seals preferred
● Must have hands-on experience with mechanical troubleshooting and repair

About the Heavy Duty Transmission & Differential Technician Role
As a Heavy Duty Transmission & Differential Technician, your responsibilities will include:
● Inspecting transmissions and differentials to diagnose failure causes
● Disassembling heavy-duty components safely and efficiently
● Documenting findings and completing detailed failure reports
● Identifying damaged, worn, or reusable parts during teardown
● Cleaning, organizing, and preparing components for production
● Handling parts carefully to prevent damage or contamination
● Collaborating with team members to meet production and quality goals
