Job Description
Crown Staffing is now hiring a full time Mill Operator in St. Charles, MO!
Monday-Friday| 1:00pm- 9:30pm | 19/Hr
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for performing various tasks related to the operation of our SWP or spiral weld steel pipe mill machine. Work as a team player to execute production schedules & incentive initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The skillset required for this role include, but are not limited to the following:
● Utilize various hand tools and equipment.
● Operation of various hydraulic and electrical systems related to the mill machine.
● Utilize various computer apps and programs.
● Perform various mathematical calculations.
● Utilize cutting torches, plasma cutters and welding equipment.
● Perform other various tasks within the manufacturing process of helical steel pipe.
MINIMUM / PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, EQUIPMENT)
● Steel toe boots and sleeved shirts required. Employee’s responsibility.
● Hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, protective gloves provided by company
● Must be able to work in changing ambient temperatures.
● Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Must have reliable transportation.
