Job Description
Crown Staffing is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of multiple residential properties across 3 locations in the Bessemer, Alabama area. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing apartments and/or mobile home communities, with a strong background in tenant relations, maintenance coordination, budgeting, and compliance. This role requires excellent organizational skills, leadership ability, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations for multiple residential properties and locations
- Manage leasing activities, including marketing, tenant screening, move-ins, and move-outs
- Ensure high occupancy rates and timely rent collection
- Handle tenant relations, complaints, and conflict resolution professionally
- Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and vendor services across all properties
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance
- Prepare and manage operating budgets; monitor expenses and financial performance
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local housing laws and regulations
- Supervise on-site staff and contractors as applicable
- Travel between properties as required
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience managing apartments and/or mobile home communities
- Experience overseeing multi-unit and multi-location properties
- Strong knowledge of property management operations and best practices
- Familiarity with landlord-tenant laws, fair housing regulations, and safety standards
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Proficiency with property management software and basic accounting principles
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of property management experience
- Experience in Alabama property management preferred
- Supervisory or team leadership experience
- Real estate or property management certification (a plus)
