Job Description
Crown Staffing is now hiring a full time Sandblaster in O’Fallon, MO!
Monday-Friday| 5:00am- 1:30pm | 21/Hr
Painter/Coater Responsibilities
- Operate sandblasting equipment to clean, smooth, or prep surfaces for painting or finishing.
- Use sandblaster to remove rust, paint, and contaminants from various materials.
- Inspect and maintain sandblasting tools and equipment before and after use.
- Read blueprints/specs to determine correct sandblasting approach.
- Work closely with team members to ensure timely, quality project completion.
- Assist in finish selection using basic color theory knowledge.
- Perform sandblasting on commercial, residential, construction, and industrial projects.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace.
Skills
- Skilled sandblaster with strong surface prep expertise.
- Able to interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Understanding of paint/finish selection and color theory.
- Experience across multiple project types (commercial, industrial, etc.).
- Detail-oriented with consistent, high-quality work output.
- Strong troubleshooting and equipment problem-solving abilities.
- Works well independently and in a team setting.
