Job Title: Production Technician
Location: Lowellville, Ohio
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift (6:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM; to be confirmed)
Overtime: Saturdays as needed
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Production Technician to join our team in Lowellville, Ohio. This position plays a key role in the production of castable refractory products, ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to safety standards in a physically active, hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times
- Participate in daily safety meetings and Tier 1 production meetings
- Mix raw materials and prepare casting forms according to specifications
- Perform finishing and packaging of final products with attention to quality standards
- Lift and move materials or products up to 50 pounds regularly
- Form pressed shapes using manual labor and operate forklifts as needed
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear the required PPE at all times
- Operate pneumatic tools and other production equipment safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret basic product drawings and follow established procedures
- Operate jib and overhead cranes safely without causing damage to product or equipment
- Maintain the cleanliness and housekeeping of work areas
- Work at heights when required in a safe and controlled manner
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred
- Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification
- Experience using pneumatic tools
- Basic welding knowledge or experience preferred
- Ability to read and understand basic blueprints or product drawings
- Strong understanding of workplace safety practices
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent movement and lifting
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Work Environment
This is a labor-intensive role requiring constant movement throughout the facility, including ascending and descending steps and working at ground level. Candidates must be comfortable in an industrial setting and capable of handling physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.
