Job Summary
As a Registered Nurse (RN) at our hospital, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, compassionate care to our patients. Leveraging your specialized medical knowledge and nursing expertise, you will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary healthcare team to assess, plan, and implement personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each individual in our care.
Key Responsibilities
– Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs and overall condition
– Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians
– Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
– Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation
– Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
– Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education opportunities
Qualifications
– Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio
– Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
– 1-2 years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital or acute care setting
– Strong clinical skills, critical thinking abilities, and attention to detail
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Commitment to providing exceptional patient-centered care
Working Conditions
This is a temporary RN position at our general medical and surgical hospital. The schedule may include day, evening, and weekend shifts to provide 24/7 patient care. The work environment can be fast-paced and physically demanding, with the potential for exposure to infectious diseases, bodily fluids, and other occupational hazards. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety protocols are provided.
Compensation and Benefits
