Looking for a fun, fast-paced job where you can be part of the excitement of college life and Husker game days? The University of Nebraska–Lincoln is now hiring Prep Cooks — perfect for college students, sports fans.
Available Position:
- Concessions Prep Cook – . Duties include preparing food items, assisting kitchen staff, maintaining cleanliness, stocking supplies, and helping ensure food is served safely and efficiently during events.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare, cook, and serve food in a safe and sanitary manner.
- Deliver excellent customer service with a friendly, engaging attitude.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and stocked.
- Be part of the action at college games, campus events, and festivals.
- Work in a fun, team-oriented environment that thrives on energy and consistency.
What We’re Looking For:
- Prior food service or retail experience is a plus, but not required.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Dependable, motivated, and ready to work evenings, weekends, and game days.
- Food safety knowledge or certification is helpful (training available).
