Location: Indianapolis, IN
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
1st Shift Alt: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Flexibility required for schedule changes & occasional weekends

About the Forklift Driver Role
Crown Staffing is seeking reliable and safety-focused Forklift Drivers to support warehouse operations in an industrial seed distribution environment. This role is ideal for someone who values accuracy, teamwork, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace while safely operating a sit-down LP forklift.
Forklift Drivers will move, stage, stack, and load product throughout the warehouse, and may also support general packaging and facility operations as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a sit-down LP forklift to move, stack, and transport product.
- Perform piece picking and pallet stacking with high accuracy.
- Load and unload freight into and out of semi-trailers.
- Use handheld scanners and tablets for inventory transactions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Support packaging line operations when needed.
- Assist with facility cleaning and general maintenance tasks.
- Operate pressure washers and pneumatic air tools as assigned.
- Follow all safety, quality, and productivity procedures.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Demonstrate dependable daily attendance and punctuality.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience operating a sit-down LP forklift.
- Flexible with shift start/end times when adjustments are needed.
- Available to work weekends when required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Positive and professional attitude.
- Reliable, consistent work attendance.
- Ability to operate handheld scanners and tablets.
- Legible handwriting and neat documentation.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to assist with:
- Packaging line operations
- Facility cleaning & maintenance
- Pressure washing & pneumatic air tools when needed
