Schedule Options:
- Day Shift: Monday – Thursday | 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Night Shift: Monday – Thursday | 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM
Pay: $60,000 – $64,000 annually

About the Role
Crown Staffing is hiring a skilled Automations & Controls Technician to support production systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role focuses on PLC programming, automation troubleshooting, and maintaining control systems to ensure efficient and reliable operations.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges and working with advanced manufacturing technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Program PLCs and develop control systems for manufacturing equipment
- Troubleshoot ladder logic and automation-related issues
- Maintain and repair automation and control systems
- Develop and improve systems for monitoring production and packaging equipment
- Program and support data collection systems
- Assist maintenance teams with electrical and automation troubleshooting
- Design and build control panels for conveyors and machinery
- Perform preventative maintenance on automation equipment
- Create and maintain electrical drawings and documentation
- Manage PLC programs and maintain accurate backups
- Track project timelines, budgets, and progress
- Support continuous improvement and engineering initiatives
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Electronics or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience with PLC programming and control systems
- Strong knowledge of ladder logic and PLC interfacing
- Experience with sensors, servos, and automation components
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documents
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer-based tools
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and documentation abilities
- Flexibility to support maintenance and project needs
