Our client is a premier plastic surgery and medical spa practice in Lexington, KY led by a board-certified plastic surgeon. The practice specializes in surgical and non-surgical cosmetic procedures in a state-of-the-art outpatient setting, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care with a strong focus on safety, comfort, and natural-looking results.
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic plastic surgery and med spa team. This role will support surgical procedures, provide patient care throughout the perioperative process, and assist with in-office aesthetic treatments.
The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care
- Assist the surgeon during in-office procedures
- Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs
- Educate patients on pre- and post-procedure care instructions
- Administer medications and IVs as ordered
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
- Support med spa services as needed (injectables experience a plus)
- Deliver exceptional patient experience and communication
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Kentucky
- BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
- 2+ years of nursing experience preferred
- Experience in plastic surgery, aesthetics, OR, PACU, or med spa strongly preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and patient assessment skills
- Professional demeanor and excellent bedside manner
