Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a MIG Welder.
MIG Welder Job Details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Location: Groveport, Ohio
MIG Welder Requirements/Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of MIG and TIG welding experience required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols
- Strong knowledge of MIG welding techniques and welding safety practices
- Experience welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
- Ability to perform quality inspections using measuring tools
- Welding certification or technical training preferred
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
About the MIG Welder Role
As a MIG Welder, your responsibilities will include:
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components
- Set up welding equipment and select appropriate materials, wire, and settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions
- Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications
- Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and weld quality
- Prepare materials by cleaning, grinding, and cutting as needed
- Maintain welding equipment and report maintenance concerns
- Follow all safety procedures and quality standards
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe
- Collaborate with production team members to meet daily production goals
