About the Role
Crown Staffing is hiring a detail-oriented Customer Service / Quality Assistant to support production and quality operations in Indianapolis, IN. This role combines customer interaction with hands-on quality work, including inspections, measurements, and process support.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working on the production floor, has a strong eye for detail, and communicates well with both customers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide customer service support for a key account
- Perform quality checks and monitor production for accuracy
- Complete first-piece inspections at machines
- Read and interpret blueprints and use measuring tools
- Assist with 8D investigations and corrective actions
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure quality standards are met
- Support internal audits and participate in 5S and continuous improvement efforts
- Maintain accurate quality records and communicate findings
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to read blueprints and use a tape measure
- Experience with 5S, Six Sigma, or lean manufacturing is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Previous quality or production experience preferred
