Job Description
Service Coordinator
Location: Grove City, OH 43123
Reports To: Service Manager
General Objectives
- Provide internal support for Service team activities
- Enter and manage service orders while monitoring progress
- Ensure accuracy of information between customers and internal teams
- Ensure service orders are completed on time
Job Responsibilities
- Review customer purchase orders
- Link customer purchase orders to quotations and service orders
- Maintain consistent communication with customers, service team, and manufacturing/operations regarding service-related issues
- Issue Return Material Authorizations (RMA) to customers
- Collaborate with the service team to ensure RMAs and service reports are accurate, complete, and up to date
- Assist in establishing and monitoring service travel schedules
- Collect and submit supporting documentation required for invoicing service orders
Required Skills & Training
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in computer applications (Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, Word, etc.)
- Experience with Sage ERP is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate and prevent issues
- Basic mathematical skills (calculating commissions, discounts, price verification, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail with a sense of urgency
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including interaction with international customers and colleagues
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Experience with import/export transactions is a plus
- Experience in contract review and negotiation is a plus
Additional Information
- Some international travel may be required for training or to support the Service Department
